Hydralift Installation

You don’t have to leave your toys at home.

Less Complexity. More Adventure.

Some RV travelers have their rigs dialed in perfectly. The coach is right. The flat tow vehicle is sorted. The campsite reservations are made months in advance. And somewhere along the way, the realization sets in that the golf cart, the motorcycles, the off-road bikes, or the scooters that make the destination worth it, still need to get there too.

A trailer behind the flat tow vehicle is the obvious answer. It’s also the answer that adds length, complexity, and in many campgrounds and RV parks, creates parking and maneuvering situations that take the fun out of arriving.

A Hydralift system is the elegant solution. And if you haven’t seen one in action at a rally or a premium campground yet, you will.

What It Is and How It Works

A Hydralift is a hydraulically operated lifting system that mounts to the chassis frame of your motorhome. It carries your additional toys (a golf cart, a motorcycle, a pair of scooters, a small off-road vehicle, you name it) elevated off the rear of the RV, completely clear of the road surface. No additional trailer. No additional registration. Very little additional length added to an already substantial convoy.

The hydraulic operation means loading and unloading is straightforward and doesn’t require a lot of physical effort. Lower the lift, drive or roll the toy onto the platform, raise it back up, secure it, and go. When you get where you’re going, reverse the process. If you’re already managing a complex towing setup, that simplicity is worth a great deal.

The weight capacity and platform configuration vary by system and by what you’re carrying, which is part of why professional installation and a proper consultation matter. Getting the right system for your specific tow vehicle, your specific flat tow setup, and your specific payload isn’t a guessing game. It’s a conversation.

Why Installation Matters as Much as the System Itself

A Hydralift system carrying a loaded golf cart or a pair of motorcycles at highway speed is carrying significant weight at the end of a significant lever arm. The hitch connection, the receiver, and the structural integrity of the installation have to be up to the task. Not just rated for it on paper, but properly installed and inspected by professionals.

We take the installation seriously because the consequences of getting it wrong are serious. Every Hydralift installation we do gets a thorough assessment of the receiving vehicle’s hitch and receiver capacity, proper mounting and hardware torque, and a loaded inspection before the rig leaves our shop.

This isn’t the kind of work that benefits from shortcuts. The right installation, done once, gives you years of confident use. That’s what we’re here to provide.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

If you’re new to Hydralift systems and researching your options, a couple of things are worth keeping in mind as you plan.

Some campgrounds and RV parks have their own rules about what can be brought in on lifts versus trailers. It’s worth a quick check with your favorite destinations before you commit to a specific configuration.

Every rig is custom, and the system that’s right for you depends on what kind of toy you want to put on it. After all, a scooter is very different from a trike! For that reason, the more we know ahead of time about what you’ve got in mind, the better.

Hydralift is a real game-changer, lifting up to 1,300 pounds of your favorite toys effortlessly while keeping your tow hitch completely free for your vehicle. It is the ultimate, no-compromise solution for bringing real adventure on the road.

Hydralift installation is a premium service, and we treat it that way.
